Walgreens Sparkling Clear

If you are a fan of flavored water, then you must try Walgreens’ Sparkling Clear flavored water. It is sweetened with Splenda and contains no sodium. Essentially it is 0s across the board (except FLAVOR!). These were priced at $0.79 for awhile, then suddenly jumped up to $0.99. I guess they figured out the demand was there. This week (until 16-Apr-2005), they are running a special on these where you can get 2 for $1! You can’t beat half price on these babies. There is a limit of 8, which most of the time won’t be an issue because these things are so popular, you’d be lucky to get eight of your favorite flavor.

  • White Grape (My Fav)
  • Tropical Fruit
  • Peach
  • Strawberry
  • Raspberry
  • Black Cherry
  • Orange Cream
  • Tangerine Lime [updated - seen in Chicago]
  • Strawberry Banana Mango [updated - seen in Chicago]

    The 2 for $1 must have been a ‘get ya hooked’ special, because now my local Walgreens has these waters priced at $1.49. I’m afraid that prices them out of my reach. Hopefully no one will buy these now so they will reduce the price.

    Apparently different stores charge different prices as another Walgreens down the street from me still has the waters priced at $0.99 each.

    I stumbled onto Sparkling Clear when I was on vacation and stopped in at a Walgreens. I must say it is the best flavored water I have ever had. The only problem is, there are no Walgreens in my immediate area. I am wondering if this stuff sold exclusively by Walgreens or might I find it somewhere else?

    Also… Two flavors are being discontinued… Tangerine Lime and Peach are going away with the new flavors being Ginger Lime (has a faint ginger-ale taste - pretty good!) and Raspberry Creme (fantastic).

    I’m not sure if they have both, but the Raspberry I have now is Raspberry Creme and very tasty.

    I know that it has been a while since anything was posted here, but I thought that I would give it a try. Walgreens is no longer carrying this water. The manager at my local store was ordering me a case (15) about every week and a half, and she can no longer get it. They are now going to be carrying Pure American flavored water. She says that it is the same company and they should taste the same. I checked and my store doesn’t have Black Cherry which is my favorite. Also, these waters are only 18 or 24 ounce bottles for .99. Not such a good deal! Does anyone know where else these might be available. I am hooked.

    I might have written your post! We love Black Cherry Sparkling Clear and had noticed it disappearing from the shelves at Walgreens. I’ve looked all over the internet for Pacific Filling Company (the manufacturer) to get information to no avail. If you have sound out anything or would like to sleuth this out together, please respond!
